Mify Auto Restock Scheduler

Mify Auto Restock Scheduler is a Shopify app that makes inventory and price changes for you at the date and time you choose — setting or adjusting stock at a location, activating or deactivating products, switching "continue selling when out of stock" on or off, or running a sale price that goes back to the original when the sale ends.

Auto Restock Scheduler - Automate update inventory by schedule

Who it’s for

Stores that make the same inventory change again and again, or need one to happen at an exact moment:

  • Weekly replenishment. Made-to-order items, consumables or limited daily stock that go back to a set level every Monday morning.
  • Launches and drops. A product moves from 0 to its full allocation, or from Draft to Active, at the minute the drop opens.
  • Ending a drop or a season. Products go back to Draft, or stock goes to 0, when the window closes.
  • Pre-order windows. “Continue selling when out of stock” turns on for the pre-order period and off when it ends.
  • Deliveries on a known day. Stock is adjusted up by the expected amount on the day a regular shipment lands.

What a schedule can do

Each schedule applies one rule to the products you pick:

Rule What it changes
Set quantity to X Replaces the available quantity at the chosen location with X
Adjust quantity by X Adds or subtracts X from the quantity at the chosen location
Activate products Sets the product status to Active
Deactivate products Sets the product status to Draft
Turn on “Continue selling when out of stock” Lets the product sell at zero stock
Turn off “Continue selling when out of stock” Stops selling at zero stock

Set and adjust rules take a restock reason and apply to one location. The other rules change the product itself.

When it runs

  • A start date, a time of day on a 15-minute grid, and a timezone chosen per schedule.
  • Repeat every N days, weeks or months — or don’t repeat, for a one-off change.
  • Run now applies a schedule immediately, which is useful for testing before its first run.
  • A schedule can be paused and resumed without losing its settings.

Scheduled sale prices

On the Plus plan, a price schedule changes product prices at a start time and puts the original prices back at the end:

  • Pick products by collection, by product or by variant.
  • Reduce by a percentage, reduce by a fixed amount, or set one price, with optional rounding to .99 or a whole number.
  • Show the original price struck through on the storefront while the sale runs.
  • End the sale early with Revert now, or leave the end empty for a permanent price change.
  • Download the original prices as a CSV before the sale starts.

A sale can run for up to 90 days and cover up to 2,000 variants. Two price schedules cannot overlap on the same variant.

What you can check afterwards

  • Run history lists every inventory and price schedule run with its status, rule, number of products affected, duration and time, and shows exactly which products changed and by how much.
  • Products shows which variants are in a schedule and which are not, with their current available quantity, and adds unscheduled products to a schedule in one step.
  • If an item is not yet stocked at the schedule’s location, the app stocks it there and retries. Products deleted from the store are skipped and noted in the run history.

Works with

  • Any Shopify location (one location per schedule)
  • Products with variants
  • Shopify Plus stores
  • Product and variant metafields (shown in the schedule screen)

Frequently asked questions

Can Shopify schedule an inventory change on its own? Not for a future moment. In the Shopify admin, quantity edits, the bulk editor and CSV imports all apply as soon as you save. Auto Restock Scheduler runs the change at the date and time you set.

What is the difference between “set” and “adjust”? Set replaces the quantity with a fixed number, so units sold since the last run are not carried over. Adjust adds or subtracts an amount from whatever the quantity is at that moment.

Can a schedule run only once? Yes. Choose “Don’t repeat” and it runs once at the start date and time. Otherwise it repeats every chosen number of days, weeks or months; daily repeats need the Professional or Plus plan.

Which timezone does a schedule use? The one you pick on the schedule, which does not have to be your store’s timezone. Times run on a 15-minute grid, so 14:07 becomes 14:00 or 14:15.

Can one schedule update several locations? No, each schedule targets one location. To restock the same products at several locations, create one schedule per location.

How can I test a schedule without waiting for it? Use Run now. It applies the schedule immediately, and the result appears in the run history like any other run.

Does it work with Shopify POS? The app runs in the Shopify admin and has no screen in POS. Quantity changes apply to the location’s inventory, which POS at that location sells from.

How are product limits counted? By variant, per schedule. A product with 5 variants counts as 5 toward the plan’s limit for that schedule.

How is a price schedule different from a Shopify discount? A discount applies in the cart or at checkout, so the product page still shows the full price. A price schedule changes the product’s price itself, so shoppers see the sale price, and the struck-through original, while they browse.
